Privacy Policy

Here is what personal information G8 Flows collects through this website, what we use it for, who else sees it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
1. Who is responsible
This website is run by Daniel Kapanen, based in Finland. For anything about your personal information, contact [email protected].
2. What we collect
- When you visit: our hosting provider, Cloudflare, handles your IP address and basic technical data, such as your browser type, so it can deliver the pages and protect the site from attacks. We do not use this to track you. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a working, secure website (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
- When you book a call: your name, email address and anything you write in the booking form. An outside provider runs the booking calendar.
- When you ask for the free pop-up and email: your store's web address, your email address and anything else you choose to send.
- When you email or call us: your message and your contact details.
- Settings in your browser: a few small settings, such as whether you closed the offer pop-up. See the Cookie Policy.
This website has no analytics and no advertising trackers.
3. Why we use it, and the legal basis
- To answer your request and prepare a possible agreement with you (steps before a contract, GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
- To reply to your messages and keep a record of them (our legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f)).
- To load outside tools such as the booking calendar, which set their own cookies (your consent, Article 6(1)(a)).
4. Who else sees it
Your information is never sold. Only the companies that host this website (Cloudflare), run our booking calendar (Calendly) and handle our email (Cloudflare and Google) see it, and only so they can do that job. Some of them may handle data outside the European Economic Area, with the safeguards the GDPR requires.
5. How long it stays with us
Your information stays with us only while it is needed to answer you. If you become a client, we keep what the agreement and bookkeeping laws require. A request that does not lead to working together is deleted within 12 months.
6. What you can ask for
You can ask to see what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, limit or object to how it is used, and get a copy you can take elsewhere. Where we rely on your consent, you can take it back at any time. Contact [email protected].
If you think we handle your data wrongly, you can complain to the data protection authority. In Finland that is the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman, tietosuoja.fi.
7. Changes
When this policy changes, the new version appears on this page with a new date at the top.
